Website and Service Terms
These terms govern use of this website and enquiries made to The Learning Collective FZE LLC. Specific tutoring, home-school or Learning Support Assistant arrangements, including fees, schedules and cancellation terms, are agreed separately in writing before services begin.
Who we are
The Learning Collective FZE LLC is registered in Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates, licence 4431903.01. Our registered address is Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Contact us at hello@learningcollective.ae or +971 56 450 0747.
Our services
We help families explore home tutoring, home-school tuition and Learning Support Assistant (LSA), also known as shadow teacher, support. Availability depends on the child’s needs, curriculum, location, timetable, educator availability and, for school-based support, the school’s rules and permission.
Enquiries and introductory consultation
The introductory consultation is free and carries no obligation. It is not a free trial lesson or trial LSA session. An enquiry does not create a service contract, reserve an educator or guarantee availability. A service begins only after the proposed arrangements and fees have been accepted by the parent or guardian.
Matching and introductions
We use the information provided by the parent or guardian to identify a potentially suitable tutor or LSA. Matching is a professional judgement and is not a guarantee of compatibility, availability or a particular outcome. Parents should raise any concerns promptly so that reasonable next steps can be discussed.
School-based LSA support
Any LSA placement at a school is subject to the school’s approval, safeguarding rules, access requirements and day-to-day directions. The parent or guardian is responsible for confirming school permission and providing accurate information about applicable school requirements unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Educational scope
Our services are educational. Tutors and LSAs do not provide medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, therapy or regulated healthcare unless a separate qualified professional is expressly engaged for that purpose. Parents should seek appropriate professional advice where a child has medical, therapeutic or specialist needs.
No guaranteed outcome
We aim to provide thoughtful and appropriate support, but academic results, examination grades, school admission, behaviour, progress and other outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Progress depends on many factors, including attendance, participation, the learning environment and continuity of support.
Fees, scheduling and cancellations
Fees are tailored according to the student’s requirements, curriculum, location and level of support. The agreed rate, payment schedule, session length, travel arrangements and cancellation or rescheduling rules will be confirmed separately before services begin. Parents are responsible for paying agreed fees when due.
Parent and guardian responsibilities
The parent or guardian must provide accurate and relevant information, maintain a safe and suitable learning environment, ensure appropriate adult oversight where required, notify us of material changes and avoid asking an educator to perform duties outside the agreed educational role. Website enquiry forms must be completed by an adult parent or guardian.
Safeguarding and conduct
Children must be treated with dignity, respect and appropriate professional boundaries. Serious misconduct, abuse, harassment, unsafe behaviour or a material safeguarding breach may result in immediate suspension or termination of an arrangement. Concerns should be reported promptly to The Learning Collective. Where necessary, we may contact a school, relevant authority or emergency service in accordance with applicable law and safeguarding duties.
Photographs, recordings and reports
A tutor or LSA may photograph learning activities only with the parent’s or guardian’s prior permission and, where relevant, the school’s permission. Images may be used only for the agreed reporting purpose unless separate written permission is obtained for another use. No publication or marketing use is permitted without separate express consent.
Incident reporting and service closure
Accidents, safeguarding concerns, significant behavioural incidents, injuries or other material events should be reported to the parent or guardian and The Learning Collective as soon as reasonably possible. At the end of an arrangement, outstanding reports, company property, confidential information and agreed administrative matters should be completed or returned promptly.
Communications
WhatsApp, email and telephone may be used to discuss enquiries and service arrangements. Parents are responsible for checking messages and keeping their contact details current. External communication services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not place unnecessary medical records, identity documents or a child’s full name in an initial website enquiry.
Website content
Website information is provided in good faith for general information and may change. We do not warrant that every page will always be complete, current or error-free. Content, branding and materials may not be copied or commercially reused without permission, except as permitted by law.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Learning Collective is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use, third-party services or circumstances outside its reasonable control. Any service-specific responsibility will also be governed by the written arrangement agreed with the family.
Changes
We may update these terms when our website, services or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the current website version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
